Lomi-lomi in hawaiian  is use to describe Hawaiian massage, and Lomi means to massage, squeeze, and rub.  Thus, Lomi-lomi techniques can be described as a Holistic Healing. According, to my teacher in Hawaii Brian Matsudo (2014), Lomi-Lomi is more than a massage because it has a healing power that goes beyond a simple massage.
